Sunward is China’s leading underground equipment manufacturer, ranked 31st among the top 50 construction machinery manufacturers in the 2021 Yellow Table and among the top 20 excavator manufacturers.

With an initial authorized capital of $200 million, a state-of-the-art research and development center was immediately launched, based on which, in 2001, they began to develop a new, unparalleled lineup of SWE compact excavators.

The year 2002 was marked by the creation of the Sunward Intelligent Industrial Park, at whose production facilities the production of SWE-08B and SWE-17B compact excavators was launched. The Chinese government provided the territory for the industrial park.

Three years later, the company announced the start of serial production of SWL skid steer loaders. The machines aroused interest among European users, due to which, at the end of 2005, stable deliveries to the European market were established. Furthermore, the models of this line were in particular demand among public utilities, due to which, by the middle of 2008, SUNWARD skid steer loaders were already exported to 50 countries of the world.
