MID 179 PID 152

Parameter:

The number of restarts of the control unit

Fault:

FMI 12   The code is registered, and the system restarts in case of an internal software error.

MID 179 SID 231

Parameter:

SAE J1939 data feed

Fault:

FMI 2   No data is transmitted between control units via the data channel. Breakage or partial damage to the data channel wiring, oxidation or damage to the contacts in the data channel connectors.

Parameter:

Program memory

Fault:

FMI 2   Software failure or defective memory circuit in the FMS gateway control unit.

MID 179 SID 250

Parameter:

SAE J1708 data feed

Fault:

FMI 9   The FMS gateway does not receive the date and time from the control unit of the dashboard MID140 over the data channel for a certain time. Damaged data channel wiring between blocks.

Parameter:

Gauge memory, EEPROM

Fault:

FMI 2   Programming error or faulty FMS gateway memory circuit.

MID 179 PSID 201

Parameter:

Data Link Disruption SAE J1939 with car control unit MID144

Fault:

FMI 9   The FMS MID179 gateway control unit does not receive signals from the MID144 car control unit via the SAE J1939 data channel. Broken or partial damage to data wire between the blocks.

MID 179 PSID 202

Parameter:

Data Link Disruption SAE J1939 with dashboard control unit MID140

Fault:

FMI 9   The FMS MID179 gateway control unit does not receive the date and time message via the SAE J1939 data channel from the MID140 dashboard control unit. Breakage or partial damage to the wires of the data channel between the blocks.

MID 179 PSID 232

Parameter:

External channel CAN SAE J1939

Fault:

FMI 2   The FMS gateway control unit cannot operate via an external data channel. Open, short to ground or to a higher voltage wiring the external data channel. The fault code is always active if an external transport information system is not connected to the FMS gateway.
