MID 232 SID 1

Parameter:

Pillow ignition circuit

Fault:

FMI 3   The block of pillows registers tension above 4 V. Short circuit on higher tension.

FMI 4   Shorting the wires to the pad on ground.

FMI 5   An open circuit between the control unit and the airbag.

FMI 6   Wires between the control unit and the pillows between them.

MID 232 SID 3

Parameter:

Ignition contour of the belt tensioner

Fault:

FMI 3   The block of pillows registers tension above 4 V. Short circuit on higher tension.

FMI 4   Shorting the wires between the control unit and the belt tensioner to ground.

FMI 5   Breakage of wires in the circuit between the control unit and the belt tensioner.

FMI 6   Shorting the wires between the control unit and the belt tensioner between them.

MID 232 SID 4

Parameter:

Right belt tensioner ignition contour

Fault:

FMI 3   The block of pillows registers tension above 4 V. Short circuit on higher tension.

FMI 4   Shorting the wires between the control unit and the belt tensioner to ground.

FMI 5   Breakage of wires in the circuit between the control unit and the belt tensioner.

FMI 6   Shorting the wires between the control unit and the belt tensioner between them.

MID 232 SID 240

Parameter:

Fault:

FMI 14   The SRS system has worked in case of an accident or the pillow control unit is faulty.

MID 232 SID 253

Parameter:

Gauge memory

Fault:

FMI 2   Error in the software. Reprogram the SRS unit, if the error persists, replace the SRS control unit.

MID 232 SID 254

Parameter:

SRS block

Fault:

FMI 12   Internal malfunction in the control unit. Replace the SRS unit.

MID 232 PSID 1

Parameter:

Chassis number

Fault:

FMI 2   Information about the chassis number from the dashboard control unit does not match the information about the chassis number stored in the SRS unit’s memory. An SRS unit or dashboard unit from another vehicle is installed. Reprogram the control unit.

MID 232 PSID 2

Parameter:

Chassis number

Fault:

FMI 2   Information about the chassis number from the dashboard control unit is missing. Dashboard not connected or faulty. Low voltage at the entrance to the instrument panel unit.
