BT Forklifts Manuals PDF
It is reasonable to say BT warehouse machinery is a European-designed Japanese brand. Several models of this brand, such as electric forklifts suitable for every situation in a warehouse, were upgraded and introduced to the market with great success in the greatest traditions of Far Eastern excellence.
The name Toyota is intrinsically associated with the BT brand of warehousing equipment. The current owner of this trademark is Toyota Industries Corporation, which also owns the rights to the Toyota name in warehouse equipment.
To coordinate the manufacturing of warehouse equipment for these two departments, Toyota (Toyota Forklift Manuals PDF) established the Toyota Material Handling Group (TMHG). However, Toyota Material Handling Europe (TMHE) is responsible for brand-specific BT operations.
BT’s founding is often placed in the distant year 1946. And the first BT hand pallet truck was introduced to the globe in 1948. Service centers affiliated with this trade group initially opened in Sweden in 1954. The first semi-automated BT type was released in 1978, and the first 48-volt reach truck was developed after a plant opened in Mölby, Sweden, in 1968. (1983). As of 2000, BT Industries has been a member of the Toyota family of businesses.
A fleet of BT electric forklifts
The firm offers two distinct loaders; those powered by electric motors and those powered by gas-powered engines.
On the other hand, the BT Cargo E series is the electric vehicle division. Traction batteries ranging in voltage from 24 to 80 volts are primarily used to power these loaders. The letter “E” in the marking indicates the use of machinery in the electric kind.
A close look at the models’ specifications reveals a correlation between the models’ load capacities and their battery sizes. Here are some of the critical characteristics of this family of loading and unloading machinery:
- The E2 model is one of three primary series. This design is marketed as one with the best use in restricted environments. Therefore, only this specific model may be powered by a 24-volt traction battery.
- You may use this loader for light weights (1.0-1.5t), but if you need something more powerful, the designers at BT recommend their E4 or E6 loaders.
- The BT Cargo E4 loader is a transitional model that runs on a 48-volt battery and can move between 2,000 and 2,500 kg. The fundamental characteristic of the E6 series is the ability to select between two configurations: one for big loads and many lifting cycles and another for use in tight spaces such as between shelves or small corridors.
- The designer markets the BT Cargo E8 as a self-propelled loading system that can function reliably under demanding situations. The four legs, 80V battery, 5,000-pound capacity, and almost 8-meter lifting height are all impressive specifications.
So, BT, a leader in the warehouse equipment industry, provides a comprehensive selection of high-quality electric forklifts (and more) that can be used in a broad range of settings. The only decision left for the customer is how they want to put the loader to work. Technology like BT can then handle the rest.
