Parameter:

Cab temperature sensor

Fault:

FMI 3   The climate control unit registers the voltage in the temperature sensor circuit above 4.86 V. The sensor is not connected to the control unit. It is possible to short the signal or ground wire to a higher voltage.

FMI 4   The climate control unit registers the voltage in the temperature sensor circuit below 0.7 V. The signal wire is shorted to ground or the sensor is faulty.

Parameter:

Outdoor temperature sensor

Fault:

FMI 3   The microclimate control unit registers the voltage in the temperature sensor circuit above 4.9 V. Closing the signal or ground wire to a higher voltage. The sensor may be faulty.

FMI 4   The climate control unit registers the voltage in the temperature sensor circuit below 0.55 V. The signal wire is shorted to ground or the sensor is faulty.

Air temperature sensor (located between the evaporator and the fan)

Fault:

FMI 3   The climate control unit registers the voltage in the temperature sensor circuit above 4.86 V. The sensor is not connected to the control unit. It is possible to short the signal or ground wire to a higher voltage.

FMI 4   The climate control unit registers the voltage in the temperature sensor circuit below 0.24 V. The signal wire is shorted to ground or the sensor is faulty.

Parameter:

Refrigerant pressure sensor in the system

Fault:

FMI 3   The microclimate control unit registers a signal with a voltage higher than 4.5 V from the pressure sensor. The signal or ground wire is closed at a higher voltage.

FMI 4   The climate control unit registers a signal with a voltage below 0.3 V from a pressure sensor. The signal wire is shorted to ground, there is a wire break between the unit and the sensor, or the sensor is not connected to the connector.

Fault:

FMI 3   The climate control unit registers the sensor supply voltage above 5.5 V. Shorting the signal or ground wire to a higher voltage.

FMI 12   Faulty data channel wires or faulty control unit.
