OMG Forklift Manuals PDF
OMG is an Italian-born company. Officine Meccaniche Gonzaga is the abbreviation for the name of this company. The firm has been producing forklifts and other warehousing equipment for more than 40 years (since 1968). The firm markets its warehouse machinery as high-quality and adaptable to any industrial environment.
The term “Gonzaga” in the business name denotes the geographical features of the brand. The old OMG headquarters are still housed in the Italian neighborhood of Gonzaga. The company’s office and warehouse space was spread across 12,000 square meters. There are daily operations involving more than 100 engineers and sales managers. This section of OMG is its beating heart; it is where all the loaders sold under this brand are made.\
The business also owns some office buildings in several Italian cities. In addition, Spain, France, and Germany all have offices for OMG.
The company’s armory of warehousing equipment is quite diverse and comprises three different types of self-propelled loaders.
OMG Electric Forklifts
ERGOS III 8 TA3 ac marking, where:
- “ERGOS III” – model name;
- “8” load capacity (determined by multiplying this number by 100 and measured in kg.), That is, in this case, 800 kg .;
- “TA3” – 3-support version;
- “ac” – an electric type of loader.
The primary power source for OMG 3-wheel electric forklifts is traction batteries. Therefore, the following noteworthy characteristics have to be emphasized in this instance:
- Models of the ERGOS III TA3 series with a load capacity of 800 and 1,000 kg operate on a 24 V battery with a capacity of 625 Ah;
- Electric forklifts of the same type, but designed for a load of 1,500 and 1,600 kg, are already equipped with 48 V and 625 Ah batteries;
- for loads o
These three-wheel electric forklifts are frequently used in warehouses and sales departments of large shops and supermarkets with little passageways between racks.
OMG electric forklifts with four legs are identified by the markings ERGOS III 15 TA4 ac. The logic used here is similar to the reasoning that was previously presented using the example of three reference models. The load capacity of this class of loading machines ranges from 1,500 to 3,500 kg. Their scope of applicability is the broadest.
Use in confined places is a feature shared by all OMG electric forklift trucks. This loading and unloading equipment can transport freight up to a height of 6,000–6,200 mm almost universally.
OMG model ERGOS D (D/G) loaders. Suitable for industrial or service applications where forklifts must move fast through confined locations while covering great distances. These devices can support 1,500 to 10,000 kg of weight.
