Daewoo trucks

Daewoo is a world-famous South Korean car manufacturer. The company began its activities in 1995 when a factory for the production of trucks in the city of Gunsan was launched. Now the plant produces two lines of trucks:

• Novus – universal cargo chassis of various carrying capabilities and saddle tractors;
• Maximus – new generation truck tractors.

The representative office develops a dealer network, supports a guarantee, and ensures the supply of spare parts.

The lineup of the Daewoo Novus chassis includes medium-tonnage models with a full mass of 11.9 to 18 tons and heavy trucks, including Special equipment – concrete pumps, concrete mixers, dump trucks, auto -excellence. The chassis with various wheeled formulas, as well as an additional axis, are presented.

Models of medium cargo chassis:

• NOVUS CC4CT – 4×2, full weight – 12 tons (to Plato).
• NOVUS CC6CT – 4×2, full weight – 16.6 tons.
• NOVUS CH7CA – 4×2, full weight – 18 tons (low -gradual).

Models of heavy cargo chassis:

• NOVUS CL7AF – 6×4, full weight – 29.1 t.
• NOVUS CL8CF/KR – 6×4, full weight – 31.1 t.
• NOVUS CL4DY (self -lifting) – 6×4, full weight – 29.5 tons.
• NOVUS CR7DS (dump truck) – 8×4, full weight – 44 tons.

Engines

All Daewoo Novus models install well-known DOOSAN engines (South Korea), which are also used in construction equipment and have established themselves as million-plus engines. All engines of the Euro-5 standard. Engine power – from 270 to 420 hp.

DL06K engines operate on the mid-tank chassis:

• The number of cylinders/location is 6 / in order.
• Engine displacement, cm3 – 5 890.
• Power Max., KW (hp) / rpm – 199 (270) / 2 500.
• Twisting Max., N ∙ m / r / min – 863 /1 400.

The DL08K and DV11K engines are installed on the heavy chassis (options 390 hp and 420 hp).

Model DL08K:

• The number of cylinders/location is 6 / in order.
• Engine displacement, cm3 – 7 640.
• Power Max., KW (hp) / rpm – 257.4 (350) / 2 100.
• Twisting Max., N ∙ m / r / min – 1 471 /1 200.

Model DV11K (390 hp):

• The number of cylinders/location is 6 / V-shaped.
• Engine displacement, cm3 – 10 964.
• Power Max., KW (hp) / rpm – 287 (390) / 1 900.
• Twisting Max., N ∙ m / r / min – 1 569 /1 200.

Model DV11K (420 hp):

• The number of cylinders/location is 6 / V-shaped.
• Engine displacement, cm3 – 10 964.
• Power Max., KW (hp) / rpm – 309 (420) / 1 900.
• Twisting Max., N ∙ m / r / min – 1 844 /1 200.

Advantages of the Daewoo chassis

Quality assembly. The chassis is fully produced by Yu. Korea, which guarantees the quality of both the main elements of the chassis and assembly.

Comfort for the driver. In all Daewoo trucks, a comfortable and spacious cabin with a berth. Available equipment with heating of the berth. Most models have a pneumocabin with electric flux.

Low-grade chassis. The presence in the lineup of a low-grade chassis (CL7AF) with a loading height of 1.2 m.

Manufacturer warranty. Interaction interval – 40,000 km. Manufacturer warranty – 3 years or 200,000 km.

Great review. Mirrors are large, with electroadjusting and heating. There are viewing windows in the lower part of the doors, so the truck has practically no “blind zones.”

On the Daewoo chassis, onboard platforms are currently available, any vans – from industrial to refrigerators, auto -pages, concrete pumps, and dump trucks.
