Skid steer loaders from the Slovak manufacturer Way Industries, widely known under the Locust brand, are technological, powerful and reliable machines manufactured using more than 50 years of production experience. The Locust skid steer loader is the rightful successor of the Czechoslovak skid steer loader UNC 060, which was once very popular in the USSR. To date, Locust offers the Russian market 4 models of skid steer loaders equipped with Perkins (England) and Kubota (Japan) diesel engines, the common feature of which is their environmental class – Stage III. And these are the L753 with a load capacity of 7550 kg, L903 with a load capacity of 900 kg, L1203 with a load capacity of 1200 kg, as well as the L1203 Telspeed machine – an onboard telescope with a lift height of 4070 mm and two-speed travel motors. This does not mean that the Locust range is limited to these machines, any of them can be equipped with Stage V engines and two-speed motors, which will turn the standard Locust skid steer model into a SPEED + model. Two new machines with an updated design and excellent service access stand out: Locust L904 and Locust L1004.
However, no matter what model the Locust miniloader is, there are a number of features common to all of them that distinguish them favorably from similar machines from other manufacturers. First of all, this is an unparalleled gear transmission that requires minimal maintenance, but at the same time with a greatly increased service life. Secondly, the skid steer frame is made of 10 mm thick steel. And finally, the lifting height, which significantly exceeds this figure for classmates by 15%, even the youngest machine in the L753 model range is capable of lifting loads to a height of 3250 mm.
In addition, each Locust skid steer will feature the most complete standard equipment, including a fully glazed cab with sound insulation, heating system, control of hydraulic joysticks on the “H” type, higher hydraulic fluid flow (78 l / min. for younger machines and 110 l/min for older ones), self-levelling attachments, as well as everything you need to move on public roads. Add in Rexroth hydraulic motors and hydraulic pumps, extensive manufacturing experience, attention to detail, and passion for what you do, and you have a Locust skid steer loader.
