SOMECA Tractors
A division of the French automaker SIMCA was SOMECA (La Societe de Mecanique de la Seine). With the release of the MAP model with a two-stroke diesel engine in the 1950s, SOMECA got off to a fast start. The portfolio gradually grew throughout the 1960s, adding more tractor models inspired by Fiat, until SIMCA was acquired by Chrysler and SOMECA was subsequently sold to New Holland.
