Raymond Forklift Service Manuals PDF
Only a few businesses have produced and upgraded material-handling equipment in the warehouse equipment market for over a century. The RAYMOND brand is a shining illustration of how ongoing investments in research and development can help a business establish a well-deserved reputation as a continental leader in electric forklifts.
The company’s founder, J. Raymond Sr., started RAYMOND in 1922. (George G. Raymond). A family company was the catalyst for everything. Over time, RAYMOND has risen to the top of North America’s electric forklift manufacturing field.
The company’s founding moments were the 1930s inventions related to the development of double pallets. Then, the business created and launched the first manual forklift with a hydraulic basis for their processing. And since the 1950s, RAYMOND has focused primarily on producing this warehouse equipment.
The firm now has a variety of high-quality electric traction-powered warehouse equipment on its selection list.
In addition to several forklift models, they also include warehouse tractors, order pickers, electric side loaders, 4-way loaders, and counterbalance trucks (including models for the standing and sitting position of the operator).
The business created the first loader in North America in 1986, and a unique microprocessor controlled it. The corporation continued to invest in creating loaders that would be both effective and ecologically beneficial.
ACR System by Raymond
One of the company’s in-house creations is the ACR system, which the manufacturer claims may make it easier to maintain electric forklifts and, as a consequence, decrease downtime and enhance productivity.
Due to the following characteristic of the ACR system, the mentioned advantages are achieved: Brushes, springs, and commutators are not present in RAYMOND AC motors. However, specific engine components need to be replaced regularly, along with other maintenance-related tasks. These are a few instances:
- Brushes. Periodic replacement is required for certain motor parts. Furthermore, a byproduct of their operations is loose coal dust, which builds up in the engine area over time. This might cause serious engine performance issues if it is not cleaned promptly.
- Collector. Its replacement and modification need a lengthy and labor-intensive operation. Furthermore, such technological tinkering entails engine disassembly.
Devoid of these components, loaders outfitted with the RAYMOND ACR system may have a distinct competitive edge.
Hence, while considering the prospect of purchasing warehouse equipment, it is important to analyze the technical breakthroughs each manufacturing business offers. In this regard, RAYMOND is a fantastic example to follow.
