The Chang’an Tiger Vehicle is a light utility truck made in China. It is a member of the “mini-trucks,” “micro-trucks,” “K trucks,” and “kei trucks” class of vehicles. The K stands for “kei jidosha,” which translates to “light vehicle” in Japanese and is the name of a certain class of automobiles that are subject to lower taxes in Japan.
The Tiger Truck is renowned for its small size, remarkable dependability in challenging environments, and it is very smooth riding quality. The Star Trek logo was referenced in the Tiger Truck logo in order to showcase the truck’s futuristic characteristics and appearance. Tiger Truck provides electric, E85, and gasoline-powered variants. There are several different versions available, including trucks, crew cabs, and vans. The Tiger Truck is renowned for its exacting quality control standards, which include its tiger-proof test, a patent-pending process. A variety of durable attachments are also available, including a snowplow, pintle hitch, front brush guard, security lamp, and a hot dog burner, among many more.
Compared to other off-road vehicles in its class, the Tiger Star model is a better-equipped and more durable off-road utility truck. With a 48 Volt, 5 kW motor coupled to a five gear transmission, the modern Star class trucks have a reliable electric drive. The California Air Resources Board has approved all Tiger Trucks.
Tiger offers the broadest selection of truck bodies for specialized applications. A chosen dealership network serves as the main means of distribution in the United States. To better meet the demand for these vehicles in North America, Tiger Trucks are being produced in Poteau, Oklahoma, under the Tiger Truck brand.
