Hyster Forklift Manuals PDF

The American business Hyster, which has specialized in the creation of lifting machines since the 1940s, is responsible for the design and construction of the loader. The company fabricates a wide range of loaders powered by either gasoline- or electricity-powered motors. As a result, the machines’ hauling capacities and chassis construction vary widely.

Hyster ICE Models

The typical lifting capability of a small forklift is between 2 and 3.5 tons. The engines of these machines have been modified to run on natural gas. The cylinders have a usable capacity of 2400–2500 cm3. A single-speed gearbox is used to deliver torque to the wheels. An electronic controller is included in the unit’s design, and it is used to regulate halting and reversing. Tires last longer, and gearbox parts last longer thanks to this gadget.

A hydraulic system with new and upgraded connections drives the machine’s parts. A built-in electronic control unit automatically adjusts the power plant’s speed to achieve the desired output, making this design very convenient. The bandage tires and drum brakes on the loader make it easy to control. The machine’s electrical circuits are linked to a digital CAN data bus, facilitating easy and rapid diagnosis and node setup. A coating’s quality is irrelevant to the standard automated balancing control’s performance.

Hyster gas loaders with a payload capacity of 4-7 tons are easily identified by installing engines with a displacement of 3.3-4.3 liters. Two- and three-speed automatic gearboxes are available. Discs in an oil bath are installed in the braking systems. The driving axle has a parking disc brake.

Forklift trucks are available with either gasoline or diesel-powered engines.

This equipment can lift and transport anything from 1.6 to 9.0 tons. Machines that can only handle a little load often use a single-speed transmission, whereas larger machines have multi-speed gearboxes. These heavy machinery have 6-cylinder diesel engines and 4-speed automatic transmissions since they are meant to haul up to 48 tons.

All piston-powered forklifts have a 4-wheel design. The front axle must carry more weight and has larger tires installed. Hydraulic cylinders allow for the rear wheels to swivel. As the nodes are fastened firmly to the machine’s chassis, it lacks both front and rear axle suspension. The control room may be air-conditioned for the operator’s comfort.

Unfortunately, the corporation does not operate any power plants of its own. The loaders’ motors are manufactured by a variety of companies, including Cummins, Kubota, Yanmar, and others. Different control devices on the motors guarantee that they meet emission regulations from Tier II to Tier IV.

Hyster electric forklifts

Hyster’s electric forklifts may be purchased with either one or two wheels on the steering axle. Single-wheeled machines can transport goods weighing between 1.3 and 2.0 tons. Each version may be purchased with either a regular or an extended foundation. On board is a battery that can provide either 24 or 48 V. Asynchronous electric motors power the drives of the wheels, the steering, and the hoisting mechanisms. The user may choose between two different modes of operation, each of which offers either a higher payload or lower energy usage.

The lifting capability of a Hyster two-wheel electric forklift ranges from 1.6 to 5.5 tons. Although the machines have a wider turning circle, they are steadier on their feet. Wheels being fitted with tires. A 48 V or 80 V battery has a voltage output. With the help of AC motors, you may move and raise the weight repeatedly without stopping.

Loader specs for a Hyster J1,6XN with a 1539 mm wheelbase:
