Still Forklift Manuals PDF
Hans Still established a workshop in 1920 where he serviced electric motors and created semi-automatic tools for generating electricity in emergencies. He continued to see dependability, efficiency, and individual perfectionism as the fundamentals of labor, and therefore he soon rose to renown and success in Hamburg.
Still started off as a maker of storage equipment in 1945. The German market received the introduction of the electric forklift EK 2000 with a 2-ton lifting capability. The product developed a reputation during the following two years. The German Federal Railways placed a significant order with Still for EK 2000s in 1947.
A tricycle tractor (still called Muli-Mobil) was introduced a year later. The EGS 1000, the first forklift, entered production in 1949.
The year 1952 proved devastating for the business since founder Hans Still passed away in an automobile accident. The management, however, opted to keep up with the activities. Up to 1964, efforts were made to upgrade and enlarge the Still. New assembly facilities, an office complex, and a thermal power plant all started operating at this time. The firm expanded internationally after strengthening its position in the German market during the following 20 years.
Hamburg is where Still’s primary manufacturing facility is now. Additionally, manufacturers may be found in France, Italy, China, Brazil, and the German cities of Geise and Reutlingen.
The business was honored by the International Forklift Manufacturers Association in 2008. (FLTA – ForkLift Truck Association). Unmanned warehouse technology has been actively explored since 2015.
2019 saw Still win the coveted IFOY Award for the LTX 50 automated tractor and LiftRoller iGo with autonomous loading and unloading capabilities in the Unmanned Vehicles and Intralogistics Robots category. The machines were some of the first in the world to be able to move loads weighing up to 1.2 tons without an operator.
Over 200 nations get loaders, reach trucks, stackers, and other devices under the Still name. Production involves more than 9000 workers. The company has 200 distribution outlets, 14 branches in Germany, and 20 subsidiaries. The firm fully satisfies the demands of major industrialists, people who use transportation services, and small- and medium-sized businesses.
Range of STILL forklifts
According to the kind of motor they use—diesel, gasoline, or electric—forklifts are still split into three categories. RC 40 (load capacity up to 3 tons), RX 70 (up to 5 tons), and R 70 are among the first three classes (up to 8 tons). The equipment is moving at a speed of 21 km/h, and the load height is 7.63 m. Additionally, three groups—RC 40, RX 70, and R 70—represent loaders for still gas and gasoline (lift up to 3, 3.5, and 8 tons, respectively).
Still, electric forklifts hold a distinct position in the categorization due to their environmental safety. More than 30 variants are available in the range. The business manufactures machinery with three or four legs that can raise a weight of up to 5000 kg to a height of roughly 8 meters.
Still, stackers are capable of traveling up to 14 km/h. able to lift objects up to a height of 14 meters and with a weight limit of 2.5 tons. Reach trucks come in 14 different variants.
Order pickers have been produced since 2016 and are frequently employed in the food business. There are ten versions in the line. The usual lifting height is within 200 mm, and the maximum load capacity is 2 tons. The Still EK-X pick-up, on the other hand, has a 4.55 m lifting capacity.
Both hydraulic and electric trolleys have a lifting capacity of 3000 and 3300 kg, respectively. The lifting height is 20 cm or less. There are now 17 electric trolley versions and ten hydraulic trolley variants.
Still creates strong electric tractors as well. The trailer load may weigh up to 25 tons and has a carrying capacity of 2 tons. 5000 N is the greatest pulling force.
There are two types of stackers sold under the Still brand: self-propelled and narrow-aisle. Their individual widths and wheelbases vary. The selection comprises two models for small warehouses and 20 self-propelled stackers with lifting heights up to 10 meters and load capacities of up to 2500 kg (up to 1.85 m; up to 1.5 tons).
