Since UniCarriers are built at Mitsubishi Logisnext’s Shiga facility and not in China, they are authentically Japanese forklifts.
The well-known Nissan forklifts, which Nissan Forklift once produced, are the same structure and design as UniCarriers.
The only Japanese forklifts with completely Japanese-made parts are UniCarriers. These forklifts were also developed by Nissan designers and are designed to automotive standards (as opposed to industrial requirements, like most forklifts).
The 1F series forklifts were first put into production in September 2007 and are still being produced today. High dependability, productivity, reduced pollution, and low life cycle costs are all characteristics of this forklift truck. Forklifts of the 1F series perform exceptionally well in heavy-duty applications, including 3-shift work.

The best gasoline engines in the world in terms of dependability and environmental friendliness are Nissan Motor’s models K15, K21, and K25 (later, UniCarriers Corporation and Mitsubishi Logisnext took over production of these engines), which is why the largest manufacturers of loaders, whose products are known by the brands Komatsu, Jungheinrich, Mitsubishi, and TCM, install these engines on their products.
The S4Q2 diesel engine, created by the Mitsubishi company, is regarded as one of the world’s greatest and uses cutting-edge advances in engine design that are decades ahead of their time. The foundation for motors’ dependability and longevity is combining cutting-edge technology, world-class best practices, flawless manufacturing and assembly quality, and thorough testing of every manufactured unit. As a result, the S4Q2 diesel engine is unpretentious, has a long overhaul time, and can operate under the most difficult circumstances and at extremely low temperatures. It also consumes little fuel and complies with the strictest environmental standards.
The operational costs of the loader, including fuel, maintenance, and operating expenses, were a focus in the development of the 1F series. As a result, uniCarriers now have improved engines that deliver higher performance and use less gasoline. These forklift trucks are incredibly reliable, which saves downtime and lowers total expenses. In addition, the loader is self-diagnostic and straightforward to repair.
A unique forklift slewing mechanism is included with the UniCarriers forklift.
Comfortable surroundings, a supportive driver’s seat, and specially engineered loaders that minimize noise and vibration all help to reduce operator fatigue.
