Poclain Excavators
Poclain Hydraulics is a French manufacturer of hydraulic pumps, motors, valves, and other components for a wide range of mobile equipment applications, including construction, agriculture, mining, forestry, and material handling. The company was founded in 1926 and has since become a leading supplier of hydraulic solutions globally.
In addition to hydraulic components, Poclain Hydraulics also manufactured a range of hydraulic excavators under the brand name “Poclain.” These excavators were known for their innovative hydraulic systems that enabled them to perform with high precision, speed, and efficiency.
Some of the Poclain excavators that were manufactured include:
- Poclain 60: This was the first hydraulic excavator manufactured by Poclain in 1960. It had a bucket capacity of 0.2 cubic meters and was powered by a 32-horsepower engine.
- Poclain 90: This excavator was introduced in 1965 and had a bucket capacity of 0.35 cubic meters. A 60-horsepower engine powered it.
- Poclain 160: This excavator was introduced in 1970 with a bucket capacity of 0.9 cubic meters. A 120-horsepower engine powered it.
- Poclain 480: This excavator was introduced in 1980 and had a bucket capacity of 3.5 cubic meters. A 300-horsepower engine powered it.
