International LoneStar
In 2008, the debut of the International LoneStar mainline tractor took place at the Chicago Auto Show. A year later, the model was put into serial production. International LoneStar is a truck tractor designed to work with a semi-trailer as part of a road train. The total permissible weight of the road train is up to 60 tons. International LoneStar has a very original and unforgettable appearance. The truck is richly decorated with chrome details that emphasize its North American origin. The massive radiator grille has received smooth lines and makes the truck look brutal. The cab of the International LoneStar has lost the angularity inherent in the bonneted American “trucks”. However, the appearance of the tractor shows the spirit of the “old school” American bonneted trucks. As befits this class, International LoneStar offers the driver the highest level of comfort. A full-fledged rest room, located behind the back of the driver’s seat, is equipped with an air conditioning, heating, and ventilation system. Therefore, the temperature in the International LoneStar cabin is always comfortable.
